AULEKTRO® metal-coated/gold-shade protective welding lenses are used in the same application areas as  standard lenses, but are specifically for high-temperature work due to the metal coating reflecting away 90 % of the heat (compared with 4 % heat protection with the standard protective welding lenses).

Additionally the lens also allows the weld pool to be viewed in it's true colours.
