Moderated members are promoted to the Unmoderated grade when
we are convinced that they have a genuine interest in welding.

This is to protect the forum from spam posts.

The decision to upgrade a member is based on what they post, rather
than the number of posts they make.  

Again this is not an automatic process as we do not have the resources
to constantly monitor who posted what.   Therefore if you have made
a number of posts and have still not been promoted then you can
contact us directly to request an upgrade.
