hi im new here i could do with some advice on these 2 helmets

im having to firstly pay a small fortune of my own money for a papr system but at the end of the day its my lungs i mainly tig ally - stainless - zintec - mild - Galv only very little though as i hate it

my 2 choices are as titled . the jackson wh50 or esab sentinel.

does anyone have any experiences on both other than the price difference.

both are 1/1/1/2 lenses i think both are true colour .

esab eco air is 170LPM the jackson is 170-220LPM

screen size differs.
the jackson is available with grinding shield although i can have my helmet on all day so dont want the weight bearing down on my neck.

i do occasional grinding when i feel the grinders will destroy what ive made so not basing this on grind compatable.

thanks

Hi

I much prefer the Sentinel. I have tried a few screens and found this to be a comfortable screen to wear, with good all round visibility. Good air feed as well.

I would personally go speedglas 9100fx all day ... I know they are expensive but like u said - itís your health !! Clarity is unbelievable, large screen and they last !!!

Plus I wear it all day and I donít find the weight an issue .. hope this helps
