Im 21 and My 4 year apprenticeship is coming to an end , first 2 years served in a ship yard training for my 6g stick root flux fill and cap for the last 3 month or so but was paid off before i got to test out , im not finishing my time as a fabricator welder in a dingy little fab shop doing very little welding , they did put me through my 4g though. To cut a long story short i dont intend on doing any fabrication when i leave this absolute sess pit. I want to get back into proper pipe welding , i know i can pay for training and get my.certs but even if i did id still be very rusty and doubt id be able to do it fluently. Id also like to get into tig welding aswell. Any advice on how to go about this would be massively appreciated willing to try anything. Cheers lads
