Hello Forum rolleyes.gif

what do you think.......?

im looking to purchase a cnc plasma with a cutting bed size of 1.5m x 3m. its been on the cards for a long time but until now only a dream

Most of my work is laser cut and then welded up using tig,mig or arc depending. i am proficient in Autocad

My work ranges from MS,SS,Al with the occasional bit of brass and ss sheetwork here and there

note* ....im well aware of the limitations of plasma vs laser but i dont have that type of money to invest in a laser . im not expecting a lasercut finish from a plasma table ......rather i would try to get as close as is possible
...

i currently have a hypatherm 45 xp but for the cnc table i will be opting for a haypatherm 125

The contenders so far are the Swift cut pro or the Escco Procut . The Mantech phantom is also getting a look as the wild card

i have a budget of around 25k

The machine will be bought direct from the supplier- not interested in second hand machines (unless its a stonker of a deal) as i want the support and warranty that is offered with the machines and need to future proof as much as possible with this investment.

i have already been to seen a demo of the swift cut pro and xp machines, nice guys and a great setup
booked in to see the guys at Escco next week

just wondering if anyone here would be willing to share their thoughts or experiences of these companies and their products mentioned

any advice is appreciated

Many thanks
