Do yourself a favor don't use a immigration lawyer\agent.
They charge you an fortune for doing virtually nothing and contrary to what they tell you they don't increase your chances of acceptance.
If you want to find out the in's and outs of the Australian immigration process use a website called British expats the people on there will set you straight.
I moved to Canada 2 years ago did all ourselves and was given good advice by people who had done it and knew the system.

PS you still have to fill out all the forms yourselves

I emigrated out to Perth in 2003 and never regrated it.

The works gone quiet in the last few years as the big gas projects wound down but it's picking up again now. There'll be a shortage of tradesmen again next year.

Immigration agent wanted $500 AUD to add my daughter to my visa, did it myself 20minutes to fill the forms out and the price off a postage stamp
