Hi all
couple of questions if anyone can help

1.If a welder is qualified to weld p22 2cr-1/4 mol material, is he qualified to weld p11 1.25cr-0.5 mol material

2.some of our PQR are to to BS 4870 pt1 and the WPS to them are to bs EN ISO9606-1, we where told 9606 was better because it had a 3 year revalidation period but it does not cover us for fillet welds.

Is it possible to change the PQR,s to EN 15614-1 2017 because this testing standard includes fillet welds and what would it involve, would it be a paper exercise or would we have to do new procedures.

hope that makes sense

thanks in advance

Think you are getting mixed up with PQRs Welder Quals and WPSs. You need to understand which you are looking at and what range of variables each qualifies and what your limitations are.
