What does everyone think of jasic? In our workshop we have tig welders, mig welders and a plasma. Personally I've found them ok, not quality, but I can work with them. They take a bit of fine tuning, they just don't seem as crisp as some of the top units, but once you find that sweet spot they're not bad for the price. Thoughts?...

We have some Jasic TIG sets that we use to train apprentices with. I agree with you, for the price they are OK. I know exactly what you mean about the sweet spot, you can knock out some quality welds with these sets. Taking into account the cost, we paid about £500 for DC TIG sets with MMA capabilty, they are as good as anything else I've come across.

Seen a lot of JASIC sets around the North East, most people have only good comments about them.
