Question recently I've been working as a structural welder. As I've got a lot of codes as a pipe welder I thought this structural stuff would be a piece of (beep).
I'm finding structural welding more challenging than pipe welding. Who.would have though that, not me a few months ago.

Nothing like trying a vert fillet 20m up in a bouncy genie basket on a windy day.. lol.
But it beats lying in a cold wet trench trying get a new low hy rod to start at 6oclock in a 10"gap between a muddy trench bottom and yr pipe. My answer is to get a nice warm workshop and move onto tigging ally. V. easy to work with. ;-)
