Anyone know what preheat would be required for a job with a combined thickness of 280mm. Nothing on the procedure boss says 60 degrees😂😂😂😂😂 I think it needs a bit more heat🙈😂😂😂

Your Carbon equivalent will detrermin your preheat temp.

and the thikness, and the heat input and the Hydrogen content of the consumable BUT we are assuming its steel and OP hasnt told us what material / grade it is..????
