Hi, newbie here.
Just finished an evening class on TIG run by our local college.
Never having done it before I was curious. Lecturer sat us all down and gave his views on not purchasing machine for TIG or MIG if we were only doing hobby stuff so got me a Stamos inverter arc job.
Very pleased so far.
As a Merchant Navy engineer I'd done arc & oxy/acetylene courses many moons ago so had some idea of what it was all about.
Got gifted a wee buzz box a while ago but got frustrated with it tripping house electrics on 1st arc strike!
So here I am with my new hobby and thoroughly enjoying it.

Stand by to have your brains picked!
